The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Medicine, has organized a workshop entitled (Clinical Assessment of Hearing) in which Assist. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mohi Rashid, a lecturer from the Otolaryngology Surgery Branch. The training workshop aimed to provide participants with an introduction to habits that lead to severe hearing impairment, such as the use of earphones and exposure to loud sounds on occasions repeatedly. As well as how to identify simple and practical clinical methods of hearing testing, such as the use of a tuning fork and an audiometer, as well as introducing the types of hearing loss and how to measure it practically. Dr. Ahmed Mohi provided a set of important recommendations and tips to preserve the ability of hearing from injuries or diseases prevalent in our time.
