The Department of History at the College of Arts has organized a training workshop entitled (Sources of Recording History through the Ages) in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit. The workshop aimed to deal with the importance of modern and contemporary historical documentation, where the press is one of the most prominent sources of information used to obtain information. The second lecture included clarifying the sources of Islamic history codification and reviewed a number of important sources in this regard, including the Muqaddimah or Prolegomena of Ibn Khaldun.
