The Laser Institute for Postgraduate Studies has received a group of students of the fourth grade of the Department of Physics at the College of Science, accompanied by a group of professors to inspect the medical laser research clinics, the chemical substances or the medical devices there. They were briefed on a group of medical and engineering laser devices, where the students expressed their admiration for the modern technologies adopted at the center. The specialist in these devices, Manal Hameed, explained to the students that the laser devices available in the medical laser research clinics can be used in surgery, dermatology and gynecology, and the students got to know the doctors who are present and some cases of patients, as for the laboratory of laser material processing, the chief engineer Atheer Rashid gave a full explanation of the types of lasers available and explained the features of each fiber laser.
