A member of the Committee of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Women, Prof. Dr. Bushra Kazim al-Hammash, has presided over a scientific symposium for the students of the undergraduate studies entitled (Reducing Violent Extremism Leading to Conflicts and Disagreements). Dr. Bushra Al-Hammash explained the concept of extremism as a description of unjustified actions or ideas used by someone trying to silence the other party through violent means to promote his convictions, and its causes lie in the spread of poverty, injustice, exclusion, political crises and social problems, she pointed to its types of political, intellectual, religious, social, security and cultural extremism, in addition to feminist and male extremism.
