The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Veterinary Medicine, in cooperation with the Zoo located in Al-Zawraa Park in Baghdad, has organized an intensive first course on the methods of care, surgery and reproduction of pets and wild animals for the veterinarians supervising the care and treatment of animals there which lasted for two weeks. The course included many scientific lectures delivered by a group of professors of the college from various scientific disciplines. At the end of the course, a test was conducted for the participants to assess the extent of benefit from that course, as well as the distribution of graduation certificates by the director of the Continuing Education Unit on behalf of the dean of the college of veterinary medicine.
