Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi, the rector of the University of Baghdad has recently presided over the 9th session of the university’s council to discuss a number of scientific and administrative matters in the presence of the deans of all colleges, postgraduate institutions and centers. The council discussed a number of issues and approved the organizational structure for the academic year (2022-2023) for all university’s formations, including reducing the wages of a number of students while taking into account their humanitarian situation, as well as extending the service of a number of faculty members due to the urgent need for their services. The rector also stressed the increase of research publication in international repositories and the citations of scholars so to increase the university’s sobriety.
