The Department of Business Administration at the College of Administration and Economics, has organized a scientific visit for a group of outstanding students for the fourth grade to the Iraqi Academy of Sciences based on the directives of the presidency of the University of Baghdad to activate scientific trips for college students to get knowledge about the scientific and religious manuscripts, Qur’an and rare old books.
It is noteworthy that the Iraqi Academy of Sciences is the largest scientific edifice of languages, knowledge and patriotism in Iraq and since its establishment, it is including a high elite of Iraqi scholars, linguists and intellectuals in all disciplines, and one of its objectives is to preserve the integrity of the Arabic language, Kurdish, Turkmen and Syriac languages, to develop terminology in science, literature, arts and civilization and so as to revive the Arab and Islamic heritage, and to promote scientific studies and research through the development of dictionaries and linguistic encyclopedias and the issuance of magazines.
