Prof. Dr. Karima Ismail Amouri, a lecturer from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the College of Engineering, has participated within the mechanism of cooperation and agreement concluded with the Industrial Research and Development Authority of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals in the Third International Conference on Nanotechnology and its Applications, which was held by the Industrial Research and Development Authority, with a research paper entitled (Numerical Study of Free Convection Heat Transfer in a Corrugated Space Using a Nanofluid). The importance of this work comes as the beginning of a research line in improving the performance of solar collectors by adopting unconventional designs and using nanofluids to transfer heat for a stable two-dimensional stratified natural load in a plane space and another corrugated space.
