The Continuing Education Unit at Al-Khwarizmi College of Engineering, in cooperation with the National Security Advisory, has organized a training workshop entitled (Social Engineering and Security Immunization). The lecture was delivered by the information security expert Muhammad Abbas Al-Saadi from the National Security Advisory who addressed many topics, the most important of which is electronic blackmail and its dangers to the community at the present. This event was attended by a number of professors and employees of the college as well as many students from various scientific departments to introduce this critical topic and the related software or information systems that can be used in order to protect personal information when using social networking sites, electronic extortion and misuse of mobile phones.
