Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi, the rector of the University of Baghdad and the dean of the college of political science chaired a meeting with the council of the political science to discuss the directives that were put forward at the university’s council. The meeting included discussing the promotion of scientific research, emphasizing the establishment of scientific conferences through virtual platforms, as well as forming committees for discussion of postgraduate research. Also Dr. Munir al-Saadi directed to check the titles and content of dissertations so as to be compatible with topics addressed in international universities, as well as stressing the treatment of some students’ cases and taking appropriate resolutions concerning them.
