The College of Engineering won the second place in the University of Baghdad’S Table Tennis Championship for Males, which was held in the Sports Activities Division under the supervision of the Student Activities Department and in the presence of the dean of Al-Khwarizmi college of engineering, Prof. Dr. Wadood Taher Muhammad, and the director of the rector’s office, Assist. Prof. Dr. Sarmad Fouad al-Ansari.
The student Hussein Naji, from the Department of Aeronautical Engineering was able to overcome all competitors participating from other colleges and win the second place successively. In turn, the head of the Department of Aviation Engineering, Assist. Prof. Dr. Anmar Hamed, expressed the need for continuing support and attention to the technical and sports activities conducted at the department, as well as enhancing students’ skills and encouraging them to participate in such effective championships.
