The Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance at the presidency of the University of Baghdad has organized a workshop entitled (Effective Quality Management Systems in Educational Institutions) in the presence of the rector of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi, and the director of the Quality Assurance Department, Dr. Omar Faleh Hassan, where the lecturers were delivered by the international expert specialized in quality systems, Dr. Ali al-Zubaidi. The lecture aimed to explain the concept of quality standards and university performance in accordance with international standards, refereeing also to how to achieve excellence in academic performance and providing support to various university’s institutions for the sake of attaining their goals through following the correct and advanced means that should be adopted in this quest.
