Prof. Dr. Muthanna Jabbar Ahmed, a lecturer at the department of chemical engineering at the University of Baghdad, was recently selected to be one of the best scholars in the world according to the data of the Stanford University Rankings – AD Scientific Index 2023, including the top 100 scientists worldwide, in the field of chemical engineering based upon their research that were published successively and their citations in global repositories during October 2022.
The AD Science Index is a ranking and an analysis system based on the scientific performance and the added value of the scientific productivity of individual scientists for the last five years according to their H-index and citations. Furthermore, it provides rankings of institutions based on the scientific characteristics of affiliated scientists. Prof. Dr. Ammar Saleh Abbas won the second rank in the chemical engineering discipline with the participation of (128) researchers in various fields, the twenty-third rank locally after competition with 3018 researchers, the 13289 rank at the level of Asia and the 91810 rank globally out of 1113264 researchers.
