Assist. Prof. Dr. Athmar Shaker Majeed al-Shatri, the dean of the college of education for women, has participated in the delegation of the Federal Government in following up the implementation of the government’s decision to return Iraqi families (women and children) from Al-Hawl Refugee Camp in northern Syria, where a discussion forum was held on the social reintegration in Iraq, the progress, challenges and opportunities headed by the National Security Chancellery and the membership of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers.

Also this event was attended by some representatives of the Martyrs Foundation, Accountability and Justice Commission, Ministry of Migration and Displacement, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, Joint Operations Command, Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency, National Intelligence Service, National Security Service, Field Psychological Team.  The delegation consisted of the rectors of the University of Baghdad, Mosul and Anbar, the assistant rector for scientific affairs at the University of Fallujah with a number of deans of faculties from various Iraqi universities, the head of the United Nations Development Program Mission in Iraq and the representatives of a large number of UN organizations, foreign embassies and the European Union. The participants submitted papers on the stages of work related to the implementation of National Security Council Resolution No. 7, 2022.
