The Development and Continuing Education Center at the University of Baghdad has organized a course on electronic archiving through the use of computers in order to move away from the traditional archiving patterns towards advanced methods, save effort and time and to finish work in a better qualitative way. The various aspects of electronic archiving were discussed in this event, even the basics of this archiving were clarified, its dimensions, benefits, requirements, and strategies. The concept and types of electronic archiving work were also discussed and a course dealt in detail with the techniques and tools used in it, and clarified their increasing importance in the field of converting personal files into an electronic card that is readable, withdrawn and cannot be added to or scanned and under the supervision of the highest official of the formation.
