The Council of the University of Baghdad discussed during its weekly session a number of issues and related matters that concern all formations to exchange opinions concerning the proposed amendments to the scientific promotions No. (167) of 2017, in addition to need for the approval of the postgraduate curricula studied at the faculties and the results of the undergraduate studies for the academic year (2021-2022), as well as the approval of the final financial accounts of the advisory offices located at various university’s formations.
The session was presided over by the rector of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi who has also directed to fully adhere to the official working hours by 100% with an emphasis on the follow-up of scientific research and the publication of research authored by professors so as to raise the citations of our university in global academic rankings, stressing the need for the entry of the university’s scientific journals in international repositories.
