Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi, the rector of the University of Baghdad, has visited the college of engineering accompanied by the director of his office and the head of the quality assurance department, and was received by the dean of the college of engineering, Prof. Dr. Saba Jabbar Naama al-Khafaji, with both her assistants for scientific, administrative and student affairs.
This visit was part of a series of visits of the rector to inspect the preparations and procedures completed to receive students in their new academic year, which is distinguished from previous years. It is noteworthy that deanship of the college of engineering sought to create an appropriate and scientific environment for students to start their study in an effective way; also he followed-up the results of the second phase examinations at all scientific departments; where Dr. Saba Jabbar talked about the percentage completed for the plan of the development of scientific laboratories, restoration and preparation of classrooms, corridors and gardens at the college.
