The center for continuing education has organized an intellectual seminar on various field initiatives of volunteering work that was delivered by Assist. Prof. Dr. Aws Mahmoud Mohammed who talked about the nature of the work of the volunteering work committee and its role in encouraging educational field achievements at the university and community levels in the service of our beloved country.
The second paper was entitled (Volunteering works during the visit of Imam Hussein) delivered by Prof. Dr. Siham Mutashar who pointed out the importance of activating this aspect and getting out of boundaries. At the conclusion of this event, a paper was delivered by the lecturer Abdullah Hussein on self-altruism for the sake of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) with a reference to the need to adopt Imam Hussein’s approach to provide what we can in the service of our communities. The committee recommended the need to adopt voluntary work in all institutions of higher education or in civil society organizations to activate volunteer work more effectively.
