The Center for Continuing Education has organized a course on the Google Scholar & ResearchGate to shed light the steps that should be followed to register on these websites, namely the requirements for registration, adding research papers, increasing the H-Index (author-level metric I-10), adding the names of co-authors and supervisors, as well as how to form an electronic library on the Google Scholar’s site. The lecturers asserted the importance of publishing research online to enhance the status of the University of Baghdad in international rankings and to disseminate knowledge across the world that would all contribute in raising scientific sobriety.
