The Center for Urban and Regional Planning for Postgraduate Studies at the University of Baghdad has witnessed the discussion of a master’s thesis entitled (Local Development Strategy and its Impact on Educational Services in the Light of the Coronavirus Pandemic: Dora Neighborhood as a Model) that was submitted by the researcher Saba Sadiq Hussein, under the supervision of the Prof. Dr. Amina Hussein Sabri.

The study aimed to shed light on the most important changes that happened during the Coronavirus pandemic at the level of education, and the role of local response strategies in the management and organization of educational services at that time, where the researcher assumed that there is an impact of the elements of local development strategies for an effective response that supports educational services in light of crises, especially after the research applied the descriptive and analytical approach to the Dora neighborhood in Baghdad. Thus, she recommended the need to raise awareness in the application of e-learning and adherence to educational systems and platforms through training and development in order to continue the wheel of learning, as well as maintain the safety of educational owners and students to achieve the best results after the end of the epidemic.
