The Computer Center at the University of Baghdad has organized a workshop on (Women and Sustainable Agriculture) in the presence of a number of members of the center and that was delivered by the director of the Committee for Coordination of Women’s Empowerment Dr. Hala Hassan Mahmoud. She gave a detailed explanation about the goals of sustainable development and the United Nations resolutions on women, security and peace as well as the concept of sustainable agriculture and its role in preserving the environment and achieving it, in addition to matters related to food, self-sufficiency and agriculture on rooftops. The workshop was concluded with a set of recommendations presented by the attendees so as to enhance the role of women in the community.
