A group of students from the Department of Petroleum Engineering at the University of Baghdad has joined the summer training at the Rumaila Operating Organization (ROO) within the framework of cooperation between the two sides. The summer training curriculum included a one-day safety course organized by Rumaila Academy as well as field visits to the drilling and reclamation towers in the Southern Rumaila Oil Field to the Gas Isolation Plant in the Northern Rumaila Field and the Central Isolation Station in the Southern Rumaila Field. The summer training included lectures on various topics related to reservoir management, water injection, geology, operations, reclamation and drilling, co-presented by a group of engineers and experts from British Petroleum Company and Basra Oil Company.
