The Journal Unit of the College of Political Sciences at the University of Baghdad held a seminar entitled (Ali Al-Wardi: Questions of Past and Future), in the presence of His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Yassin Mohammed al-Ithawi, and the Iraqi academic, thinker and writer Dr. Abdul Hussein Shaaban. The seminar was administrated by the Chairman of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Political Science, Dr. Montasir Majeed Hameed. Dr. Abdul Hussein Shaaban addressed the scientific, intellectual and academic outputs of the Iraqi Social Scientist and their effect on the Arab community as a whole in the past, present and future as well as his contributions in the field of political sociology. The door to dialogue was opened at the conclusion of this debate for interventions and comments made by the audience, including a great number of professors, students and guests have expressed their interest in this event.
