The University of Baghdad has announced getting the first ranking at the local level in the AD Scientific Index 2022 issued recently by the AD Scientific Index Ltd. after competition with 102 Iraqi public and private universities in various disciplines, also attaining the 415th position regionally and the 1791st position globally.
This achievement is considered as a significant step and a remarkable progress in the field of development and innovative dissemination of academic research in the service of our community and beloved country. It is noteworthy that this ranking is an analysis system based on the scientific performance and the added value of the scientific productivity of individual scientists. Furthermore, it provides rankings of institutions based on the scientific characteristics of affiliated scientists according to the provision of the last five years’ scores and the total scores of h-index, i10 index scores and citations in Google Scholar.
