The department of chemistry at the college of education for pure and applied sciences (Ibn al-Haitham) has organized recently an awareness campaign to combat the use and spread of drugs in the country and its negative effects on people, delivered by the Assist. Prof. Dr. Salma Obaid Mohammed. This campaign was sponsored by the second-grade students who have published some posters and photocopies that call their fellow students to cooperate in the spread of drug control culture in the community, asserting that the college seeks to hold such cultural events for its undergraduate students permanently.
