The college of veterinary medicine at the University of Baghdad won the 2nd position locally accompanied by its counterpart at Al-Qasim Green University during its participation in the 6th Graduate Student Research Conference to discuss the graduation projects for the fifth-grade students for the academic year (2021-2022) held at the college of veterinary medicine at the University of Basrah. The aim of the conference is to enhance the level of scientific research and academic cooperation between the Iraqi faculties as well as to invest research outputs in the service of our community scientifically and economically.
During this event, fourteen applied research papers were presented and discussed by which three top studies were selected as the best, where the University of Basrah won the first place, followed by the University of Baghdad & Al-Qasim Green University in the second place and finally the Tikrit University in third place. It is worth mentioning that the research of the University of Baghdad was submitted by the students: Zainab Sharif and Zainab Mohammed Jaafar, under the supervision of the professors, Dr. Anaam Badr Faleh and the lecturer Dr. Sahar Mahdi Hayawi.
