The Directorate of Dormitories held its third artistic festival for the female student talents under the auspices of the rector of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi, and in the presence of the assistant rector for administrative affairs, Assist. Prof. Dr. Sarmad Fouad Jaber as well as a number of deans of faculties. The festival included an exhibition of photographs and handicrafts mage by the female students, in addition to singing songs and presenting a range of ancient Iraqi folk costumes, reciting folk poetry, playing violin and piano and performing a play with a piece of music. For his part, the rector of the University of Baghdad stressed the need to support such youth talents and praising all the artistic works made by our students.
