The department of dormitories at the University of Baghdad has recently concluded the second football championship for the academic year (2021-2022) at Al-Salam Student Complex, under the auspices of the rector of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi, and with the direct supervision of the dormitories, Prof. Dr. Omar Faleh Hassan.
This event witnessed the participation of a number of football teams representing several faculties in two groups, where the final match was attended by a great gathering in a competitive atmosphere. At the conclusion of the championship, Dr. Omar Faleh dedicated trophies and prizes to the teams that won the first and the second places, also awards for the best player, scorer and goalkeeper in the tournament. It is noteworthy that this is the fourth football tournament organized by the department of dormitories within its distinguished activities during this academic year.
