The College of Pharmacy at the University of Baghdad, in collaboration with the Nippur Office for Consultation and Training as well as the Pharmaceutical Consultancy and the Iraqi Association of Pharmaceutical Producers, sponsored a scientific seminar entitled: (Process validation in the pharmaceutical industry). This event was attended by Dr. Nawfal Karim, the director of the Registration Department at the Iraqi Ministry of Health and the director of the National Center for Pharmaceutical Supervision and Research, Dr. Salam Jassim, as well as a group of pharmacists from the ministry of health and pharmaceutical factories, as well as graduate students of the Pharmaceutical Branch at the College of Pharmacy.
The symposium started with a valuable scientific lecture delivered by Dr. Ghafran Majid, the director of the Neipur Office, in which she spoke about the importance of the Iraqi pharmaceutical industry and ways to develop it, as followed by a lecture by the expert in the ensuring production quality from Jordan, in which she discussed the most important joints of the manufacturing process used to ensure the sobriety of the production process and how to maintain the momentum of training and capacity-building so as to upgrade the Iraqi pharmaceutical industry.
