Abstract
The sliding angle which may also be called the roll-off angle has a practical and useful meaning. It is defined as the angle between the sample surface and the horizontal plane at which a drop of liquid begins to slide from the sample surface under the in”&”fluence of gravity. Sliding angle is experimental data for a specific description Surface wettability,. The low sliding angle is crucial for self-cleaning and corrosion applications. The process of measuring the sliding angle is carried out in three stage”&”s: placing a drop of water of a specific size on a specific surface, tilting the surface to the point of falling of the water drop, and finally measuring the Sliding angle. Continuing the process, the steps are carried out directly one by one. The measure”&”ment system is made of simple, low-cost materials abundant in the local market. The high-accuracy measurement method for the Sliding angle was done by using a unique method, for the first time, that depends on a program that works under Android and with t”&”he help of a Samsung smart phone (such as the Galaxy S3) or any other type.
