Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi, rector of the University of Baghdad has inspected the department of media and public relations at the university’s presidency to learn about the progress of the work and how news and reports are made, as well as he kept abreast with the units of the department and the nature of its work and the obstacles the employees suffer from and the technical equipment they need to accomplish tasks in an appropriate way.
Dr. Munir al-Saadi also met the members of this department, directing the need to follow-up the latest news first and to raise the educational level of the university to reflect its image in the best way, stressing the need to highlight scientific and research outputs of faculty members and the related frameworks or projects that might serve the labor market and the Iraqi community. During his speech, the rector praised the number of research done and published in Scopus & Clarivate databases so as to increase the number of citations in international university rankings.
