Assist. Prof. Dr. Abdul kareem Mohammed Al-Sammarraie, the assistant rector for scientific affairs at the University of Baghdad has inaugurated recently a vaccination outlet against Covid-19 pandemic at the college of physical education and sports sciences for women in Al-Waziriyah neighborhood in Baghdad. The college, in coordination with Al-Rusafa Health Directorate, has opened up this outlet to provide vaccines to all its professors, employees and students with the start of the first semester of the academic year (2021-2022).
For his part, Dr. Abdul kareem Al-Sammarraie urged female students to receive vaccines as soon as possible to maintain public safety, recommending the deanship to conduct a major awareness campaign to encourage students and staff to commit to the instructions of the ministry of health in this regard so as to protect their families and Society. It is noteworthy that such initiatives with continue from time to time at the colleges of the University of Baghdad located in Al-Waziriyah and Azamiya neighborhoods to include more recipients every day.
