The University of Baghdad has announced recently that it has gained new advanced positions in Scopus after publishing (16543) research papers and recorded (99785) citations, as well as publishing (8366) papers in the Web of Science with a citations rate of (49461), also asserting that the number of researches published in ScienceDirect database till now is (8366) with (H-index = 99). It is noteworthy that the University of Baghdad has more than (6167) faculty members, (71840) students, (24) colleges, (3) postgraduate institutes, and (11) research centers in various disciplines. For his part, the rector of the university Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi praised the role played by the professors in this academic achievement via publishing research in world’s sober repositories in the service of the Iraqi educational process.
