Prof. Dr. Isaac Saleh Al-Akam, dean of the college of education for women has received recently a delegation from the National Security Advisory, who visited the University of Baghdad headed by the Secretary of the Psychological Cell at the Advisory, Mr. Saeed al-Jayashi and Mr. Ahmed al-Tamimi, in the presence of the director of the department of graduate studies at the university’s presidency, Prof. Dr. Hussein Qassim.

The two parties discussed all matters concerning the students admitted to study the higher diploma equivalent to the master’s degree in the specialization of security & community development and community rehabilitation & peacebuilding with the aim to raise the efficiency of the state’s staff and its security and intelligence systems, in addition to stressing the continuation of this program along with discussing the prospects of the inauguration of a doctoral study in such disciplines that might in turn serve and support our national security institutions. The delegation also followed-up courses and tried to assist in any initiatives conducted to overcome all obstacles faced by students. At the conclusion of this visit, Mr. Saeed al-Jayashi thanked the dean of the college, faculty members and employees for their fruitful efforts exerted towards organizing and preparing all the requirements essential for the success of this academic distinguished program.
