The Central Scientific Promotions Committee at the University of Baghdad held its first session for the academic year (2021-2022) chaired by Prof. Dr. Kazim Abdul Wahid in the presence of all its members. During their meeting, the members discussed a range of issues related to the scientific promotion of (44) faculty members: (10) of whom to the rank of professorship; (24) to the rank of assistant professor and (10) to the rank of lecturer in various humanities, applied and pure sciences in order to be approved by the committee. Then they exchanged visions regarding the procedures adopted for scientific promotion in commitment to the directives of the ministry of higher education and scientific research. At the conclusion of this meeting, the chairman thanked the members of subcommittees for their efforts exerted towards completing the required work.
