The college of science at the University of Baghdad hosted a meeting of the Certificates Equivalence Committee in the field of pure sciences sponsored by the Department of Missions and Cultural Relations at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The members discussed issues related to the equivalency system and to some related resolutions.
The dean of the college, Prof. Dr. Abdul Karim Abdul Razzaq, chaired the meeting and exchanged proposals with the committee’s members regarding the required conditions that should be fulfilled to issue certificates for students who have completed their studies abroad and he reaffirmed the need for examining all procedures carefully in accordance with the instructions and laws in force, taking into account the scientific sobriety of the educational institutions at which the students had completed their study.
