Prof. Dr. Ahmed Wahid Nasser, the assistant rector for administrative affairs visited yesterday the university’s health center and announced that the total number of the vaccinated employees, faculty members and students at the University of Baghdad has reached nearly one thousand till now, indicating that there has been a high turnout over the past three weeks to receive Pfizer vaccine.
For his part, the director of the health center confirmed the continuation of a major vaccination campaign against Covid-19 pandemic throughout the working days at all faculties. It is noteworthy that the rector Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi has directed all university members to receive the vaccine in preparation for the next academic year, urging everyone to maintain public health and abide by the preventive measures.
