Assist. Prof. Dr. Iman Adel Jaafar from the department of English language at the college of education for women has recently participated in an international virtual conference entitled (Poetics and Linguistics) sponsored by Nottingham University in its 37th season through the Microsoft Teams Platform. Dr. Iman Adel has participated in this event through presenting two research papers entitled “Investigating the poetic language: studying a stylistic blog”, in which the most important methods of style were reviewed, while the second one has been extracted from a thesis presented by the master’s student Haya Jassim Abdul Salam, entitled (Written stylistic analysis of suicide messages), which aims to analyse the linguistic style of the seriousness of suicide messages published in social media.
