The department of earth sciences, in collaboration with Ibn Sina center for e-learning and the continuing education units at the college of science has organized an electronic workshop entitled “What Shall I do after graduation?”, with the participation of a number of students and those concerned with the rehabilitation and employment inside and outside the college.

The two-day workshop aimed to guide graduate students in taking the right and appropriate steps to plan for the post-graduate stage for the sake of the finding the right job consistent with their competencies and their attitudes in life. The lectures were given by Prof. Dr. Hussein Ahmed Tamimi, the specialist in petroleum engineering and the director of training and e-education department at NWEAT, Liverpool, UK to introduce the steps adopted when writing a C.V profile, along with the need for enhancing the mastery of English language, self-education, skills development and also getting more and more information about the academic discipline we are specialized in through keeping abreast of previous studies. The lecturers asserted that by these procedures we can have an opportunity to find the right job.
