The Laser Institute for Postgraduate Studies at the University of Baghdad held a seminar for the master’s students on some engineering and industrial applications and to discuss a number of obstacles they face when conduct their research. Prof. Dr. Hussein Ali Jawad, dean of the institute chaired this meeting and exchanged ideas with the professors and scholars on how to provide all determinants for achieving outstanding scientific researches.

Then the student Haneen Qasim Merza, presented an outline of her research entitled (Controlling the spacing of the wavelengths of fiber laser), while the student Asmaa Anam Abdul Wahab talked about her study entitled (Design and analysis of laser bimodal interferometer) in which she highlighted the principle of stimulating multiple patterns using a multi-crust optical fiber interlaced, 5cm of multi-pattern fiber peeling. Also the student Suroor studied the sensor of relative humidity based on the interferometer with the nanoparticles. Then the student Mohammed Hazim Hassan, presented a research paper on a light sensor designed to measure temperature and elongation based on de-hearted fibers working on the principle of Mach-Zinder, the student Ali Mohammed Khudhair discussed how to improving the performance of his LSP way by studying the surfaces of the hypnotic sabeka. The sixth lecture was given by the student Nibras Hamed Abd on Microhole metal laser that depends on nanoparticles.
