The lecturer Dr. Jassim Mohammed Mahdi and Prof. Dr. Emad Taleb Hashim from the department of energy engineering at the college of engineering have been honored by the NISA Award for Outstanding Iraqi Research 2020 (Best Collaborative Paper) for their distinguished research cooperation with sober international universities, namely their research entitled: (Solidification enhancement with multiple PCMs, cascaded metal foam and nanoparticles in the shell-and-tube energy storage system) published in Applied Energy peer-reviewed academic journal (Cite Score: 17.6, Impact Factor: 9.746).
It is worth mentioning that the winning research was recently selected by the Clarivate Analytics to be one of the best papers of (0.1%) highest citation in engineering disciplines, currently appears in the database of (ISI Web of Science). His Excellency the minister of higher education and scientific research, Dr. Nabil Kazem Abdul Sahib has received the winners in his office where they reviewed briefly the most important findings of their research and the minister directed to adopt their applications in the relevant state institutions.
