Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi, rector of the University of Baghdad, accompanied by his assistant for administrative affairs Prof. Dr. Ahmed Wahid Nasser have inspected recently the progress of the final examinations at the college of media and followed-up the health measures taken there in conjunction with the severe widespread of Coronavirus infection. Then they visited the college of engineering and supervised the progress of exams, as well as listened to the students’ remarks regarding the nature and comprehensiveness of questions, the services presented by the deanship to students, including the need to commitment to social distancing, wearing masks and medical gloves in exam halls, as well as the provision of sterilizers and thermometers for emergencies.

It is noteworthy that the rector of the University of Baghdad have jointly supervised the course of virtual examinations along with His Excellency the minister of higher education and scientific research Prof. Dr. Nabil Kazem Abdul Sahib and gave an overview on all the technical and health measures adopted by the university’s faculties and the logistical preparations that preceded exams, in addition to related civil and national safety procedures in terms of sterilization and permanent presence of health teams to assist students and faculty members. However, the colleges at Bab al- Moatham Complex in Baghdad have witnessed last week an inspection visit made by the assistant rector for scientific affairs Prof. Dr. Abdul kareem Al-Sammarraie in a high alert plan to follow-up the mechanisms of final examinations for the current academic year and the efforts exerted by exam committees to overcome any obstacles in this regard.
