Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi, rector of the University of Baghdad has visited lately Bab al-Moatham Complex in an inspection tour to the colleges of Islamic sciences and pharmacy where he was received by the deans of the colleges and met a number of female students resident at the Cooperation Student Housing Complex in conjunction with Eid al-Adha holiday.

Dr. Munir al-Saadi was briefed on the needs of the residents at the dormitories and the mechanism that should be adopted for completing the reconstruction and expansion of the infrastructure, as well as he kept abreast with the national health safety conditions taken there, stressing the need for increasing awareness about all possible precautionary steps that can be taken when dealing with the electrical current to avoid any accidents, God forbid; in addition to ensuring the availability of occupational, health and preventive measures to maintain public safety in conjunction with the rise in infections with the new Coronavirus variants. The rector of the University of Baghdad praised the efforts made for improving the reality of the student housing complexes, namely the role played by the director of the dormitories Prof. Dr. Omar Faleh who has changed and upgraded the administrative and urban features of all student residence departments, along with his engineering and technical staff who work day and night in order to promote the reality of services provided for students. It is noteworthy that the inspection tour was made with the presence of the dean of the college of pharmacy Assist. Prof. Dr. Sarmad Hashim, the director of the department of diwan affairs Dr. Sarmad Fouad, the director of follow-up and coordination department Dr. Mohsen al-Shammari and others.
