The University of Baghdad has announced the completion of all logistical and health preparations at the onset on the final examination of the current academic year (2020-2021) where the rector Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi confirmed that the exam halls are ready to receive our dear students in accordance with the instructions of the ministry of higher education and scientific research. It is noteworthy that all seats were dispersed and halls were sterilized in cooperation with the staff of health departments, also thermometers were provided in order to check the students’ temperatures pre-exams to ensure their safety, in addition to providing face masks and other safety devices.

Dr. Munir al-Saadi stressed the university’s commitment to ministerial and the National Health and Safety Committee directives to follow up precautionary procedures in classrooms by conducting field tours by deans and heads of departments frequently at different times. For its part, the Directorate of the Dormitories at the University of Baghdad confirmed its follow-up of all health conditions at the student housing complexes in conjunction with the start of the final examinations, including the provision of electrical power, internet service and other facilities. It is noteworthy that a number of the faculties of the University of Baghdad have launched their final exams in the week before Eid al-Adha holiday, while others have started exams on Sunday, July 25, 2021.
