The college of agricultural engineering sciences at the University of Baghdad has organized recently, within the cultural season of the department of agricultural machinery, a lecture entitled (Worker exposure to plant protection products), in the presence of the head of department, faculty members, undergraduate and postgraduate students. The lecturers talked about the essential procedures necessary to carry out the process of combating agricultural pests, methods adopted for the correct and harmless use of pesticides and the relevant devices, as well as discussing the topic of preventive measures to protect plants from any environmental factors that may hinder their growth, with a review of the most advanced techniques and machinery used during the anti-pest control process.
