The Government Media Cell confirms the coordination of all Iraqi government’s efforts to support the ministry of health in the face of the third wave of Covid-19 epidemic, particularly with the increasing vaccination rates, as well as to overcome any technical or administrative obstacles in supplying more vaccines from sober global facilities, to impose preventive measures in the country and for managing safe quarantine centers.
The ministry of health declares the effectiveness of the vaccines supplied in Iraq, according to the World Health Organization’s data and also asserts that there are no negative side effects recorded in Iraq for any citizen. So the Government Media Cell calls on all local media and civil society organizations to urge citizens to receive vaccines in order to curb this new wave which is the most perilous in Iraq since WHO has expected that it may be the most widespread phase in Iraq since 2020.
