The institute of genetic engineering and biotechnology for postgraduate studies at the University of Baghdad has conducted the competitive postgraduate examinations for the applicants to the coming year (2021-2022), under the direct supervision of the dean of the institute Assist. Prof. Dr. Saif Dawood al-Ahmer, who has inspected the examination halls accompanied by his assistant for administrative and scientific affairs, Assist. Prof. Dr. Ismail Hussein Aziz.
The dean stressed the importance of adhering to health recommendations to prevent the spread of Coronavirus in the community and in implementation of the resolutions of the ministry of higher education and scientific research and the presidency of the University of Baghdad. During his tour, the dean also insisted on the importance of providing all requirements that would create a suitable atmosphere for the examinees, including providing cold and sterile drinking water, preventive supplies such as masks & sterilizers, besides other precautionary measures to check the temperature of students to avoid any infection. Dr. Saif al-Ahmer appreciated the sincere efforts exerted by the faculty members participating in the administration and correction of examinations accurately for the sake of the announcement of examination results at the assigned time.
