The Center for the Revival of Arab Scientific Heritage at the University of Baghdad organized a celebration of World Heritage Day held at the central library with the participation of a number of academic figures and institutions. The purpose of the ceremony was to raise awareness about the diversity of the cultural heritage of humanity and to strengthen the mutual efforts to preserve our Iraqi heritage and to show its importance and elegance.
The celebration included a cultural exhibition that was inaugurated by the assistant rector for administrative affairs, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Wahid Nasser with the participation of several artistic parties, and where many shields and certificates of appreciation were presented to the participants.
