The college of engineering held an exhibition of scientific outputs on the occasion of its 100th anniversary, under the auspices of the rector of the University of Baghdad Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi, in the presence of the Governor of Baghdad Dr. Mohammed Jaber al-Atta, assistant rector for scientific and administrative affairs.
During his speech, Prof. Dr. Munir al-Saadi stated that the university of Baghdad seeks openness to the community via conducting various field projects and scientific studies in coordination with government and private institutions and to highlight several industrial researches that can be applied in labor market with the active cooperation of professors and scholars from the colleges of pharmacy, agriculture and education for humanities. It is noteworthy that this event witnessed the presentation of a range of scientific products and research projects in the fields of oil, mechanics, environment, civil engineering, architecture and computer science that were sponsored by the advisory office.
