The college of veterinary medicine at the University of Baghdad organized recently its first exhibition of scientific research, theses, dissertations and patents in the presence of the assistant rector for scientific affairs Prof. Dr. Abdul Kareem Mohammed al-Samarraie, the director of the department of quality assurance Prof. Dr. Yusraa Mohammed Abdullah and a number of professors and researchers. The assistant rector was briefed on a number of new patents in various disciplines, as well as many authored books, research papers and master’s theses submitted by faculty members where he expressed his interest and appreciation of these academic achievements and the distinguished efforts exerted by the deanship in raising the scientific status of the college.
For his part, the dean of the college of veterinary medicine, Prof. Dr. Hameed Ali Kazim, stated that the aim of this exhibition is to promote all research endeavors towards the development of faculty members’ capabilities in order to reach at the desired outcomes as well as to highlight the scientific outputs achieved by scholars, stressing that the deanship always seeks to support all field projects conducted by postgraduate students to keep pace with the latest global developments that may serve the Iraqi people and find solutions to their current life problems.
